The live image below is of the NZi3 building progress. The NZi3 building is being constructed on the corner of Creyke and Engineering Roads at the University of Canterbury. The web camera is positioned on top of the Mechanical Engineering wing.

NZi3 Building background

The NZi3 building will be an icon for the ICT industry in New Zealand. Its design will cater for the needs of the Institute’s industry partners with adaptable, high-tech facilities, including a world-class visualisation room. A state-of-the-art seminar room will showcase the best of founding partner Hewlett Packard’s leading edge presentation and conferencing technologies.

Housing around 60 researchers, the building will be a place where entrepreneurial thinking is fostered and developed to ensure ideas from the labs are transformed into commercially viable ICT products and services.
